Cool direct mail campaign: Porsche Canada

Can't work out if the direct mail campaign by Porsche Canada is creepy or cool. Porsche put its new model outside some of the most affluent houses in Canada, took a photo, then sent the image to the person at the house - with a call to action - showing people what their house would look like with a Porsche outside.

It's quite a nifty campaign, I guess, but creepy in 'I know where you live' way. I assume that people opted in and that Porsche didn't stalk them and break all sorts of privacy laws.

It's also a bit presumptuous, thinking that cos you live in a rich area, you're going to want a Porsche.

Still, if they want to come and leave one outside my house for say, 3-4 years, they are more than welcome.

It is actually an Italian dog, often with its tail docked, it has smooth body lines along with a lot of speed and stamina. It's used for hunting which often makes my comparison strangely relevant. Although it's priced like a luxury vehicle, the Porsche is just not famous for it's comfort. It's famous for it's speed, a sports car - generally red - and often related with mid life crisis and little penises.The Porsche has been one of the biggest-selling sports vehicles of all time. Not only do the vehicles look luxurious and classy and also like something you would see in the sky as opposed to on the ground, but they're also really well made, lightning fast and also rugged enough to hold up to the rigors of prolonged high overall performance. One of the latest Porsche is the 918 hybrid.
